Fat vs Carbs-Mehmet Oz Nutrition Round Table

0

scaleDr Mehmet Oz of the 'YOU' book health series is seen in the video interviewing Gary Taubes, Journalist and Author of Good Calories, Bad Calories, Dr. Dean Ornish, Founder and President of the Preventative Medicine Research Institute and Dr. Barbara Howard of the American Heart Association on the continuing issue of 'Fat vs carbs' and our health..

It's interesting to compare a discussion five years ago with today.  Have these experts changed their views?  We all want to know the secret of staying  healthy, alteast I do. But we are all so different and unique.  How can there be one path for health that is right for everyone!  Even if food is called 'healthy for you', it doesn't mean that it's healthy for YOU.

Video Clip:

I use trial and error and it changes regularly.  What is 'right' for me today may not be 'right' tomorrow.  Exercise and 'healhy food' is a good start. And we all know the effects of sugar, stress and sleep deprivation.

See what Dr Oz and these experts said about this complicated issue of living better, longer and healthier.  Remember, this discussion was held 5 years ago and Dean Ornish and Gary Taubes have different ideas about what contributes to 'good health'.  Gary is anti-carbs and Dean is the pro-carb doc.
